Data Centre Alliance and Clear Decisions Announce Strategic Partnership to Deliver Live Compliance and Horizon Scanning Service for UK Data Centres
London, [10.00am 02-10-2025] – The Data Centre Alliance (DCA) and Clear Decisions today announced a new strategic partnership to provide DCA members and the wider UK data centre sector with automated compliance monitoring and horizon scanning services.
The collaboration will see the DCA’s Data Centre Legislation Horizon Scan (2025–2027) developed into a live compliance and foresight feed, giving members an industry-first digital tool to track and respond to regulatory and policy developments.
Phased Initiative
- Phase 1 (2025): Co-design of a pilot “Watchlist / Foresight Radar” with priority topics, to be announced at the Data Centre Transformation Conference in October.
- Phase 2 (Jan 2026): Launch of a live Watchlist dashboard, hosted on The DCA website and powered by Clear Decisions’ compliance automation platform.
The pilot will initially track high-priority areas such as grid connection reforms, lithium-ion battery safety, NIS cyber security requirements, AI policy, and carbon and water regulations impacting data centre planning and operations.
